Ladies Rain Cape
Here's another look at one of Mr. Anthony's excellent products. The Inverness Rain Cape (in - a - pouch) style 1B for ladies. This is not listed on his main web site but here: http://www.invernesscapes.co.uk/rain.htm
This is a lightweight yet rugged cape, excellent for the traveler. It packs down very small. Unlike some of the others, it uses buttons and not snaps. The buttons appear quite tough.
On to the pictures:
This package actually contains two rain capes with hoods!
The front of the travel pouch.
Rear of the pouch showing the belt loops.
Detail of the underside of the collar with Isle of Skye trim. Tartan trim is available only on the ladies models.

Hood attachment detail.
Trim detail.
Amazingly, as long as you carry the cape around in its pouch it seems to ward off the rain.

Truer words were never spoken.

A few items came to mind which should be mentioned.
Unlike the Empire Canvas cape which attaches with snaps, this cape is permanently attached to the coat. Also, it is attached at the center back of the cape hem with a tab sewn to the coat to prevent the cape from blowing up over you head in a high wind.
Getting the cape back in the pouch is, in fact, much easier than folding a parachute. Detailed instructions are included describing the best way to fold and pack it.
Finally, as advertised, these capes are indeed "made to measure." Should you have special requirements, e-mails are promptly answered. If necessary, a phone call to Mr. Antony will set your mind at ease and confirm what a pleasure he is to work with.
