I imagine this might be a nice light hearted thread but maybe there is actually a traditional choice that I don't know about? Maybe Utilikilts go best with rottweilers? What do yo think?
Nah, I think the best accessory for a Utilikilt is a Percheron!

For a traditional kilt, I think it would be really cool to have a pet gecko that hangs out on the kilt apron... in just about the right spot to replace a kilt pin.

I had a Crested Gecko that was super cool. I gave him to a good home when I got my dog. But he would have been a cool kilt pin

Methinks a West Highland White Terrier is the perfect accompaniment to the kilt...

Basset hounds. They terrorize ground hogs like nobody's business!

That's an awful bug rabbit... and not much of a head start you're giving him... shades of "the most dangerous game" in the highlands?????

    It was humour... i hope...

maybe some red flashes would top off the outfit perfectly.

as for me i don't have a kilt right now that would match my Senegal parrot (Moya) but she would probably go well with an Irish national thinking about it.

Many members of this forum have turned to HRH the Duke of Rothesay for his excellent taste in Highland attire. His canine accessory of choice is apparently a Labrador Retriever.

Brilliant. I have two of those in yellow and one in black. I don't have any pictures of me (kilted) with them, mainly because they shed 51 & 1/2 weeks of the year, and it is a pain in the butt to get fur off of a wool kilt.

Side note, today was a sad day...our yellow male lost his "puppy-making" parts today at the vet.
