    HSH Carlene of Monaco

HSH Princess Charlene - Princess of Monaco in a bespoke kilted dress. She is South African by birth, of English and German ancestry so I have no idea what tartan this is. I do know that this young woman knows how to wear it. What a beautiful look.

A very nice look. I wonder how many yards material went into the making of it.

In this case it is complementary.

The tartan looks a bit like the Blaylock reproduction, but I could be a bit biased in that regard.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

That is a really good look. Now, if I could just get my wife in one. Perhapse the Irish tartan for the County Cork since that is where her family, McCarthy, is from.

Just to take my turn at "picking nits", it looks to me that this very nice outfit worn by the Princess consists of, in fact, a kilted SKIRT and not a kilted DRESS?

Just Fantastic: wish more women wear it like that for formal occasions (well it's one of the possible options!).
