Was at a Tartan day event 10 days ago and there was a table set up by someone plugging the release of the film. They were giving out posters for the movie so, of course, we grabbed a couple.

Braveheart goes animated:

I hope not, Braveheart is considered one of the worst films ever made by many in Scotland. I remember going to see it with my wife, who was heavily pregnant at the time. I sat there in my seat writhing and squirming in anguish, wanting to run from the cinema, but my missus refused as it had taken her long enough to sit down. I felt like the character Alex in Clockwork Orange when he is forced to watch terrible images on the screen. Some are still burned into my retina. The horror, the horror!
Mind you, plaudits to Mr Gibson and his method acting. At the time people in Scotland were saying, "Mel Gibson, playing a Scotsman? That's not going to be very convincing". And look at him now, an alcoholic racist.
I might well go to see Brave, but it will be because I liked other Pixar films such as Up or The Incredibles.
I beg you, do not mention the B********t word again.
