    Arizona Tartan Weaving session

Going slowly due to a bout of tendinitis, but the Mrs. got some time to work on it tonight.

The cat claiming the chair he had no interest in until the wife wanted to use it.

Wife and cat discussing ownership of chair.

Wife won, let the weaving commence.

Running low on brown, time to break out the bobbin winder.

That tartan is beautiful and what a beautiful job. I would like to pick your wife's brain. I got asked to weave a tartan for a kilt. What size thread, EPI and PPI did she use? What did she do with the inactive shuttles? How did she handle the color changes...did she run the inactive threads up the side by placing the shuttles on the self and treat them like a floating selvedge, or did she cut and weave the tag ends back in or did she just cut close to the edge? Thanks in advance!
