Re: New dress sporran for Bob
I'd say it's much closer than "six-footer". Very nicely turned out.
The proportions are very excellent (which is a touch tricky with a rolled edge and a plush fur), your liner under the cantle is far better turned out than MANY commerical bags, and I gotta respect someone willing to bleed a bit for their work ![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
The only thing you might wish to do is cut back the black trim on the rear inside face a touch. I can PM a few easy tips if you'd like.
I can't wait for the "action" pix of it's debut.

It is definitely better than a fuzzy bunny... by a long way! The fur looks so rich and lush. I look forward to an action shot too

I'd say that's a fine looking sporran! Artificer's points are well taken, but I doubt if anyone would give you grief were you to wear that to the next highland games or kilted event. Looks pretty good to me!

Thank you all! Artificer, don't laugh, but that trim has already been trimmed back once. . . yeah, I can probably get closer. I'll take all the hints and tips you care to share.
This was my first sporran and first foray into leatherwork of any kind. I think I'll stick mostly to my knitting but now that I have the tools, and one under my belt so to speak. . . who knows. Must practice up if I am ever to make something worthy of the cantles that Artificer is creating, and after which I lust!

WOW, that is nice! I've been eyeing a couple of mink stoles at a local antique mall for a couple of weeks for this same purpose. They aren't quite as nice looking, or as inexpensive as this fur though. I'd I'm pretty sure that when I get around to making one, it won't be half this good looking.
