Chucker,
whenever you see a smallish image while you are cruising the net, thats where you get it.
It's as individual as, well, wearing a kilt

I could make you one if you needed. Any particular style or expression?

Creating an Avatar
Hi Chris, Have you got access to any image processing software. I used Adobe Photoshop Elements to create my avatar. All you need to do is collect together the images you want and place them together in an image. The secret is use bold shapes with simple colours and then resize the image at 80X80 pixels after you have put all the elements together.
Hope this might help.
Happy Kilting Daneel

Thank you, friends, for your welcome ; it’s nice to be recognized !
One complaint, though:
Why did I find, under my name, the words “NEW kilted user” ?!?!
I’ve worn kilts for Scottish events most of my life, and, in recent years, they have become my daily wear.
I have tartans and 6 home-made non-tartan,so, Mr Moderator, kindly adjust the descriptive, as I do not regard myself as a neophyte.
(no hard feelings)
I have not submitted an avatar, as I have changed computers, and my new one has no photo retouching software, but I’m working on it. Can’t even remember the name of the soft I used to use, nor where I found it.
Martin,
Old kilt user (interpret that they way you wish!),
in Grenoble, France.

And you may ask yourself, Well how did I get here?

Welcome Martin,
I am also a 'New Kilted User', despite that fact that I have been posting at Tom's for nearly three years now (well over 1,000 posts). Still, you are in good company, because even Hamish was classed as a 'New Kilt User' when he first arrived here. Can you imagine that?

Martin, you're not the first to point this out. (A few posts ago, I made a suggestion to change the titles slightly which was politely turned down.)I feel after 100 posts or so you should be able to choose your own title. But thats MHO.

I think guys are misinterperating the meaning of "new kilted user", I think it means a new user of the forums who happens to be kilted, not someone who is new to kilts.

Thanks Bobby! At least someone understood it. I started this board w/o ever posting at Tom's or knowing anyone who did. I also dont mean to sound cranky, but this isn't nor will it ever be Tom's board (a lot of folk appreciate that!). So those who are new to this forum are "New Kilted Users" until they post at least 10 times. Not "New to Wearing Kilts." Yes even the famous Hamish was a new Kilted user here.
I cant believe people are getting a bunch in their underwear over this...oh wait, maybe that is the reason! A bunch would hurt if you are going regimental! Ouch!
Keep posting and your ranks will change! Even the new users!
Beannacht Dé,
Hank
