And so ladies and gents, to business.
In post #31 I'd quoted £50 p/y double width plus shipping; howver, there was a £2.5 surcharge becuase of the seven colours which I'm afraid I cannot absorb without paying you to take the cloth off me 😲. So, final cost will be £52.50 per yard, 16oz double width with a double selvedge; which is still exceptional value.
I have 60 yds - PM me to secure your bit of history.

Got it!!!
Ok folks....just took delivery of my share of history of the long awaited Culloden Tartan....4 yards, double width. It's a beautiful tartan and I feel very lucky to have it. I have a couple of ideas as to what I'll do with it....couple of box-pleated kilts, perhaps. Or, a kilt of some fashion(knife or box-pleat) plus a vest. So many possibilities!! I'll entertain any ideas you may have! Many thanks to figheadair for making this entirely possible.

Received my length of the rewoven Culloden today. Gosh, it's beautiful. Green in general is my least favorite color, but the green of the new tartan appeals to me. It's a nice moss or olive green. It looks like a shade that might actually occurs in nature. The subtle blue is also pleasing. I think I might like it better than the blue of my favorite kilt done in Holyrod Golden Jubilee. These old colors are splendid. I opened the package at the post office, where I had to go pick it up, and showed it to the woman at the counter. She was very impressed. I think others who see it will be, too.
