2013 St. Louis Scottish Games Photos
Greetings,
Here's a lovely series of photos (with the exception of the first photo, which was taken at The Scottish Arms after the games had concluded) taken over this past weekend at the 2013 St. Louis Scottish Games in beautiful, Forest Park in my hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. We had wonderful weather for this year's games, albeit it could have been about 10 degrees cooler (ideally speaking, naturally). The temperature was a wee bit warmer than what's typically expected for late September in that part of the world, yet there was quite a nice breeze and some areas that did provide shade. Cooler, more fall-like temps would have been much more suitable for our tweed and wool, yet we survived the sun's rays and had an absolutely brilliant day out! There's simply nothing better than good conversation, over a pint or two, with family and friends at an event of this nature. Enjoy!
Cheers,

Nice photos Kyle! Enjoyed meeting you this weekend and getting a chance to say "Hey". Thank you for the wonderful comments about the Clan Donald tent and the "beard"...lol. Looks like you and the lovely Mrs had a great time. I know we did. If you come to Tartan Day in April....we shall go for a pint or two.
See ya next year.

Likewise, Teàrlach! It was such a pleasure to meet you and yours. Yes, Stephanie and I will be at the Missouri Tartan Day festivities in April, so we hope to have a much longer chat the next time around!
Best regards,

I'd like to compliment you on that jacket as well...it looks fantastic!
You don't look anything like your avatar, lol, and it threw me off a bit!

Great pics Kyle , everyone looks great ! Very , very nice kit ... you look very sharp , like the jacket . Speaking of appearances , I take it that you decided to forgo the beard and mustache project .
Cheers , Mike
