Family Reunion
Had a family reunion up in Michigan this weekend. Was a lot of fun and great seeing the family. My son and I were the only ones in kilts but hopefully get a few of them turned.

Good pics! Aren't family reunions fun? It looks like yours was held in a really beautiful place.

Thanks for sharing, Mickey.
By the way, Stephanie and I plan on coming into town to attend the St. Louis Scottish Games in late September. We will be there just for the Saturday events. Saturday evening, we will be at our favourite wee pub, The Scottish Arms, located in the Central West End and only about a 5 minute drive away, for dinner and drinks - this is when the real ceilidh begins! Hope to see you and yours in September, mate.
Best wishes,

Thanks. I wasn't going to wear a kilt, but decided that it would be a nice way to include my late grandfather (a Campbell). It was held in my aunt and uncle's backyard. Really was beautiful there![Smile](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

We'll make a point to be there, at least at the Arms. Looking forward to it!

Mine too! I still can't get over how fit you're looking. You and I joined X marks around the same time, but in your early pics all I can see is some beefy lout who had swallowed the svelte, lithe piece of machinery present in the picture above. It's that liquid diet, huh? I've tried it, but it just makes me fatter and unbalanced.

LOL.. Thanks. Pretty pleased at how it's coming along. It's that new trendy diet called Drop The Fork And Pick Up A Dumbell. When you do the liquid one you gotta remember to skip all food.

I attended my own family reunion just a couple weeks ago.
I had designed a graphic for a banner, t-shirts, etc...

My cousin had a cake made for the event.
Knowing that I enjoyed wearing a kilt, she took a small liberty with the design, putting one of the figures in a kilt...
