A few photos from the 2014 Pleasanton Highland Games

Greetings all

Here are a few Pleasanton Highland Games with a little panache...

(With luck the Amazing Madalyn and/or Walkerk will add some of their photos to this thread as well)

From Saturday

X Markers Alan and Roger. Alan discovers that not only is Roger ROSA KLEBB (!) but that his shoes don't match

But it's all good

The San Jose Scottish Country Dance Class (my class) Adjudication team performing. Since I was dancing with the Red Thistles I gave up my place for someone else to have a chance to dance at the games. Our team did very well and looked great!

Here is a photo taken by my friend Charlotte of the Red Thistle show. It went well and the audience seemed to enjoy the program.

From Sunday

The Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess (aka The F-H.C.A.G. , aka Star) was able to join us at the games Sunday and she made a beeline to see Alan first thing

True to form he got hammered right away…

Being with good friends is the best part of the games. Here is Walkerk, way2fractious, and The F-H.C.A.G.

Great pictures, thanks for posting and sharing your F-H.C.A.G. However 3 tartans together? Certainly they stand out otherwise I don't think I'd have noticed.

Great photos.

Nice to run into you (although briefly) over by the clan tents. I'm not quite sure why my son decided that you were the one to dissect the tag off of his lizard stuffed animal toy... but perhaps he sensed that animal procedural abilities are in your family (if I am remembering correctly, isn't your wife a vet? Maybe I'm wrong on that...)
