I think has been done in the past, still I thought it would be a fun idea to share pictures of your favorite or unusal kilt pins. Here are a few of mine:

Here are two pieces of jewelry that were never intended as kilt pins but I think they work well.

My Great Grandmother loved owls and this brooch was hers. I wear it and remember her.



What could be more fitting on a SWK Black Shadow Tartan than a Siouxsie and the Banshees pin?

Jamie has asked for photos of our favourite kilt pins but, since I have no favourites (I like 'em all or I would not own them!), that would mean 73 photos from me. No! I tell a lie - I have one on every kilt except kilts like Utilikilts, so that reduces the number in use to about 59. On the other hand, I have some seven 'spare' kilt pins, waiting in the wings for new kilts to come along, making it 66. Call it 67, because I have a new pin coming from France in a few weeks with my new Bro-Leon tartan kilt from Brittany.

I think I'll opt out of this thread, as nobody, but nobody, will want to wade through 67 photos of my pins!

Here's my favorite "kilt" pin. It was Panache's pin-he picked it up at Disneyland this past year. But, when I saw how well it went with loud Macleod, I stole it.

That Siouxsie one is very cool. Where'd it come from?

I bought that at a Siouxsie and the Banshees concert when they were touring to promote their "Peek-a-Boo" album. Siouxsie Sioux herself was most memorable! She possessed a wonderful voice and a commanding stage presence. I remember being quite enthralled with her. Ah youth!
