That's an interesting jacket style (and matching vest detail) with the "waist seam." I haven't noticed that before, although haven't been looking for it.

Hahaha! With all due respect to the Clan MacLean, as well as to Sandy and other 'resident' MacLeans, no. I shall always be a Macpherson!!!

    Cheers,

Good eye, Sydnie! You know, I haven't seen a visible, horizontal seam like that on a waistcoat before, very interesting indeed. I do like the jacket style and how he 'made it is own' by incorporating a different type of stag horn button (reminiscent of the Bavarian style worn on men's Miesbacher jackets), which I am sure was a personal choice!

    Bavarian Miesbacher jacket

    Cheers,

    Re: I love this photo!!!

The picture is of Charlie MacLean (famed Scotch Whisky writer) at a Keep's of the Quaich induction ceremony. A group which I am upto be inducted to next year. Their sole purpose furthering Scotland through Scotch Whisky.

Charlie is a character, all around good guy and an asset to Scotch Whisky.
