Kilt Run in Raleigh, March 2014
A friend sent me this link for a charitable event in Raleigh, NC on March 1, 2014: http://www.nogrunclub.com/stpaddys/
They are attempting to set a Guinness World Record for most kilts in a 200 meter run.

Thanks for the post, Chuck! I definitely plan to do the kilt run, and will probably do the 8K. I'm running 4 miles a day now, building up to 5, so I should be ready by then.

Just a reminder about the upcoming Kilt Run on March 1st if you live near Raleigh, NC. This is an attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the most kilted folks in a race. The record of 1764 runners is currently held by Perth, Ontario. The Raleigh race has almost 1400 participants at the moment. Hate to see Perth lose its crown, but good luck to the organizers.

The kilt run is tomorrow. Anyone not already registered that wants to join us can register onsite tomorrow before the run. Let's set a new Guinness World Record. What do you say?

I don't know, yet, if we set a new record. I will post here when I learn the results.
