Marchbrae IoS Kilt
In my recent thread, "Marchbrae," I stated that I'd post some pics of my new baby, an Isle of Skye Kilt. It's fantastic! Unfortunately, photos do not do it justice. It's 6 yards, and 13 ounce wool. The workmanship is top notch, for sure. So, here it is. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Looks great~ I seriously considered Marchbrae when I took a trip to Edinburgh to order a kilt last year. Very attentive and knowledgeable service, and I may go there next time. I'm sure you'll enjoy it thoroughly!

Very nice looking kilt, congratulations. I've had my Isle of Skye kilt for 3 years and it's still one of my favourites, such a lovely tartan.

Oh, BTW, the IoS kilt was not a bespoke. It was stock and being sold as clearance. I was concerned about fit. Originally it was a 38" (I wear a 36"), and states that on the kilt, but Marchbrae reduced it, at no charge, to a 36." The total length was standard 24." I would have preferred a 23, but since I wear my kilts up to the rib cage, it's not too big of a deal. Anyway, for the price, which was excellent, I think I got a wonderful wool kilt....couldn't pass it up. The seat is a tad big, but not to the point where it bothers me or looks bad.
