    UT KIlts

I just saw these on Facebook this morning. The prices look terrific.

Those prices certainly are fantastic. It appears they've gotten their inspiration from Utilikilts in the latter picture, with the studded "V" shape pattern on a narrow apron. However, I'm a bit leery as to why the prices are so low. My concerns lie in the quality of the build and materials, and the overall legitimacy with the site/company as a whole. Had anyone had experience with this site/company, or know anyone who has? If it is legitimate, it may be at the very least an introduction to unbifurcated garments at an affordable price.

Matty, I have one of the Deluxe in Olive green. And I like it. Wore it about yesterday. I will only comment that I am a bit "unwieldy" when getting in and out of cars and certain types of chairs, and the side cargo pockets on the Deluxe needed some re-stitching and I added some additional stitching for support.

Brice ships fast, is located in Roy.

Looking to buy one of the new "Wild" models to wear for the Payson festival next week. I'm over in Tooele, by the way.

yep I had a deluxe in khaki, came unstitched on the front. So I went to Brice He is way awesome about it. Didnt have my size in deluxe so I got a little refund and a regular Utility. However the same things happening. I may need to resew a few. A bit heavy but I love it.

Well then, I suppose that answers the question of legitimacy, and it seems the customer service is good. Perhaps the maker will develop a better stitching technique, but for the price, it doesn't sound like too bad of a deal to me.

    Thanks for sharing guys!

I'll second that it is a bit heavy. Its heavy enough it takes a really stiff breeze to move it much. But I like that all the pleats are sewn to the hem. It washed just fine, didn't seem to shrink. And I hung it up on the shower curtain rod before it was done drying.

Purchased an Olive one a few months ago direct from UTKilt.

Absolutely no complaints with the kilt or fabric, given the price point. Wore it to Chicago Highland Festival / Games in 95 F heat and it was just fine. The pockets proved tres useful.

Thumbs up for Brice and UTKilt.

yes the pockets are great. Granted and the regular the pockets seem like they lost width. The Delux pockets are great. I go Geocaching wearing it and it holds all my suppys great. Thinking of placing an order for the Wild one just going to give it a few. Granted price is great but im losing some poundage so I may have to wait.

Well, their tartan kilts appear to be the typical imported from Sailkot, Pakistan kilts. Based on the prices I would assume that their contemporary kilts are the same. So just keep in mind you are not, in this case, buying from a kilt maker, but from someone who is importing these and retailing them.

Well isn't that interesting, I clicked on both links and got blank pages on both. They took me to the right place, but both were blank white pages. Hmmmmmm. EDIT: And when I went to site directly via Google both of those pages were blank also.
