'Kilt Kit' Travel Bag
For Father's Day my "kids" (2 dogs and cats) got me a travel bag for my highland gear called the "Kilt Kit" form a company in Nevada I hadn't heard of before called Order of the Gael. I don't have any pictures handy, but here is their link, it shows it better anyway;

It's a great product if you're going to travel with kilts and all their accessories! The kilt hangers (which are avalible separately) are really cool! I'm gonna use the bag this weekend, so I've already given it a test, and it held 3 kilts, 2 jackets & waistcoats, and assorted shirts, belts, shoes, hose etc .. with no problems, other than all that stuff together is kind o' heavy!

Boy, I popped that site right into my Kilt Bookmark folder. Very handy idea. How sturdy is the material and stitching of the bag?

Ahhh, you're lucky! They're good folks out of Las Vegas. I use their hangers for ALL my hand sewn kilts. Love 'em!

I've looked at that product on other sites, looks like a quality built unit. I don't do enough kilt traveling at this point to warrant one, but in the future that bag looks like the way to go.

It is really heavy duty, the material is almost twice as thick as that in other garment bags and soft luggage I own.

Thanks, that settles it. I've got some travel coming up and this bag will be just the ticket (no pun intended...sorta)

It is nice your "kids" paid attention to you and your kilting. To have them make that extra special effort for Fathers Day, really means a lot. LOL..
