    My 1st & 2nd Attempt at Kiltmaking

Here are a few shots of my first and second attempt at kiltmaking. The tan one is my first. I made it time to wear it to my college graduation this past May. The second one (the olive one) I made to wear with my Boy Scout uniform. I have worn them to work at the office, I work in an architect's office. I have to say I got a lot of wierd looks and comments but I think they're just jealous. I have also worn them camping and that is well worth it. They are both the same knife pleat pattern with two full-size front pockets that are tucked into the inside pleat. I came up with this layout/pattern from many pictures and diagrams I have seen and made some of it up in my head.

Dude, I think they look great especially the green one.But I would have chosen to wear a sporran, and I think this might help a bit with the weird looks at the office.
Your first attempts are alot better than mine were.

Looking good, but I echo Ranald's comment. You need to add a sporran.

Congrats Wash U Grad! My girlfriend just graduated there this semester... I played pipes for their girl's rugby team. That's where my profile pic was taken.
