    My X-Kilt...at last!

Many thanks, way2fractious, for the material! I think it came out well and I like the narrow apron style. That "sporran" is a ten dollar Jansport fanny pack in black cordura.

    Hmm..

Nice looking kilt indeed. I never thought about a fanny pack as a sporran. Those are easy to access than a traditional sporran, I'll have to look into getting one.

    Alan,

Very sharp! It's nice to see the designer get to finally enjoy his product.

    Cheers

That box pleat with the narrow apron looks really good, Alan.

You're welcome. If you didn't use it, it would turn into "vintage" fabric in a few more years. It came out looking really good, and will be a great knockaround kilt for you.

One of these days I'll figure out how you have time to hold down employment, take care of a wife, practice and compete throwing heavy sticks and stones, practice and play music, fix boats and sail them, backpack in the mountains... AND sew kilts!

looks like Predator camo in brown deception color to me.
Whatever it is, I really like the look. I think camo kilts rock when paired up with a heavy boot and modern web belt. Very militray-esque.
    Nice job Alan.

Looks great Alan! I too, often wonder how you do all you do-I assume sleep is optional in your life?

    Be well,
