    New: Blue Sporran and Belt

A week or so ago I searched for the McRostie of Glasgow website ( www.mcrostie.co.uk ) following a sighting, not for the first time, of Robin's fine sporran made by them. I was absolutely delighted to see that, whilst their range is not extensive, what they DO produce is available in a range of unusual colours.

Already having a beautiful all-green sporran from Freelander Sporrans and a superb matching green sporran strap and belt by Glen - all of which 'go' so well with my green kilts, I jumped at the opportunity of owning a blue sporran, sporran strap and belt for my blue ones! These items are made to order and they were miraculously delivered within five days of my placing the order.

The quality is of the finest and the materials used are absolutely first-class and I unreservedly recommend them to anyone wishing to spend maybe just a little over the odds for top of the range products.

One point in this Company's favour is that they do not offer sporran chains - only all-leather straps. That alone tells me a great deal about them!!

    Take care,
    Ham.

Those are absolutely wonderful, and of course you wear them perfectly. I must say I like the way the tie and the hose bring it all together, it looks wonderful.

Blue shoes, Phil? Blue shoes! Oh, come now, I really do not want to make a spectacle of myself. But, wait a minute! Was it Elvis who sang about 'Blue suede shoes'? Maybe they would work .......... but, ......... on the other hand, no! Best not!!

    Take care,
    Ham.
