Here's a shot of a new sgian I'm having made by a blacksmith up in Maine... It's the heat treated, but unpolished 5160 blade, an African blackwood blank for the handle, and nickel/silver for the ferrules. I'm told it should be completed next week. Once received, I'll post a review and share the smith's name and contact information. I think it's gonna be a beauty.

Got a couple of new photos of the work in progress from my bladesmith this morning... Looks like much progress has been made!
