PUFFER's NEW "SNAKE GARTERS"

I just got these, IMHO, NEAT garters from "Celtic Warrior Kilts" http://celticwarriorkilts.com/garters.html
They call them "Snake Garters" & I can HARDLY wait to wear them on a "walk about"

They are a wool blend & VERY well done. Itold them the kilts I wanted them for & they set to work.
1. SWK "Night Stalker" = Black/lt Grey & white, with a black "body.
2. USA "Auld Lang Syne" = Red/lt Grey with a lt Grey body.

These will be FUN

Those are nice. Why are they called "snake?" I was expecting snake skin flashes.

They are a "tube" Knit ( body) round.

Looks like the kind of garter you can knit with an i-cord machine. I have a pair my wife whipped up for me. My six year old daughter has been knitting an i-cord on her little machine for a while now, but it's about 18 feet long, so probably won't be used as a garter. :-)

I have been making these type for a while now.

Very easy to do with one of these:

I am usually "all thumbs" when it comes to crafts, but once you get going - it is very easy (actually very calming and therapeutic)

Nice combination of colors Puffer. They should go well with the "Night Stalker" and "Auld Lang Syne".

Those are so neat! I need to get a new I-cord maker like the one pictured so I can whip some of these out. They'd be a great use for yarn odds and ends...
