We just got back from a lovely evening.
Listening to my local college radio station this morning, I heard about
Dougie's show just down the road. My wife and I decided to go.
I called and got two of the last few tickets.
I did not get to wear my kilt as we left straight from work.
There were several kilts in the audience.
The show was excellent.
(We are not talking in a Flogging Molly way here but in an
acoustic Bob Dylan kind of way. Only Dougie is easier to understand! )
He is a animated and passionate performer.
We even got to meet him at the pub afterwards.
(He likes the Whisky that is old enough to buy itself a dram )
For those that do not know Dougie MacLean he is a singer song writer with
a bit of a folk/ roots music sound. With wonderful images, of Scotland
and its people, woven throughout his music.
I Highly recommend that, if you are within driving distance of the
these cities, you go to a show. You will not regret it.
