Made from a Sport Kilt generic pin and US Army Air Assault Badge, by a patient jeweler with a little bitty drill bit.

Well these are not so much as my favorite,,, but one will become my favorite. Its the one with the rampant lion on it! I actually bought these on Saturday at the Amherst Scottish Festival in Amherst New York (just outside of Buffalo, NY). I was running late and did not put a kilt pin on, and felt weird without one,,, so i had to go looking for one, i was planning on just buying a simple "safety pin" but saw these and bought them from the same vendor.

Here's the one I wear most: a "spear knot" from St. Justin in Cornwall, see the Celtic Croft stateside.
From the Scottish Lion, "Tobermory" by Art Pewter. I don't know where the design comes from: any help? It arrived just ahead of my Edzell USAKilt, so it seemed to belong here.
This is an oddball which I quite like on my SWK black shadow. The device is called an arrowthorpe after the octothorpe or sharp-sign #. It is used by the League of Professional System Administrators, and yes: I'm very much afraid that we do use the acronym LOPSA.
I velcro'ed this on when I wanted a fleur-de-lis for Bastille Day. It's on the U.S St. Andrews tartan; which on 14 Juillet, if on no other day, is blue, white, and red:
This lady has been posted before, and there are a couple of nicer versions around (see the one above). It's the insignia of the 67th New York, the Irish Brigade.
