    Congratulations.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

    Love that plaid!

What is the homespun tartan fabric like? I'm definitely considering one of these for more casual wear.

I believe it is 10 oz. I have a philabeag in the Robertson tartan in the same fabric. It feels more "wooly" than the only other kilt I have to compare with right now: a semi-trad from USA Kilts in PV. The feel is quite different. The Semi-trad feels looser but looks better [subjective opinion], crisper if you will, the SoS seems to have a rougher hand than either the Robertson or the semi-trad, however the Robertson is 3+ years old and has been hand washed a few times.

I am quite comfortable in all three. I live in a high wind area and haven't had any problems with fly-away kilts. In the summer I have worn the Robertson often, nice kilt for summertime. For dressing up I think I'd go with the PV. It has a more finished look...but I paid a lot more for it too.

    Kilt looks great!

Ok, I know I am weird and ask weird questions, but I must cure my curiosity. I noticed the television (I believe it's a television) in the picture has the same scene in both pictures, yet you obviously had to change poses causing enough time for the scene to change. How is this possible!!!!!!! Lol

    Thank you for indulging me.

Very simple, grasshopper Brute, he jumped in the air before the falling elevator he was in hit the ground.

Perhaps there was also a pause button, or it is a picture.

Just joking, Brute. It's funny that you would notice it, though. Look forward to the answer.

Rondo: Very nice kilt! Love the purples. I also like your belt and sporran suspender - very substantial looking. Good looking balmoral, too. Good show.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
