#2 is my choice too. I have a similar one myself.

I'll second the vote for the second 😁sporran. Definitely will get the most mileage. #1 is just too specialized for wearing for most times and events. The last one just seems awkward and unbalanced to me. Its lacking at least a third tassel to look right.

Of the three shown I too would go got #2, however, my actual preference for a plain but good quality day wear sporran would be one of these which show up frequently on Ebay in both new and used condition:

Royal Regiment of Scotland Sporran

They are. I spoke to them about it and had them make me a black one of this style.

I'll give this a big "seconded"!
I don't always wear a plain brown leather day sporran, but when I do, I prefer a simple MoD style. They are easily found on eBay for around $25. There's a nice understated simplicity about them, and no annoyances from those silly tassels that audibly knock on the front panel of the sporran all day long.

Definitely number 2 from the first three. Love the plain military sporran. I have one of those in black and another in brown.

If you wanted a military sporran like the ones talked about here, I found this one.
