Kilted Krimefighter: Part Three
Hello all, I had an interesting experience over the weekend. I was walking through town to a local restaurant for dinner (kilted of course). As I passed a large tourist group, one woman's purse was lifted and the culprit took off at a run. I immediately transferred to my "concerned citizen with combat training" mode...He (unfortunately for him) was running towards me, and he quickly was introduced to two of my good friends, Righty and Lefty. He offered very little opposition when he realized that I was well trained (I have trained in the martial arts for 16 years). The woman's purse was returned, and I held the ruffian until the police (and press) arrived. When giving his statement to the police, I overheard him saying: "That bad motherf**ker in the kilt took me down, man...That kilt is badass, man.." :-D I was reluctantly interviewed by the local television news crew. Upon seeing myself on the news that night, I was labeled the "Kilted Krimefighter." I laughed out loud when I thought of our friend Dreadbelly... At any rate, just another good PR point for us kilt-wearing gents...

Does the station have the video on their website, Sav? I'd love to see it.
You did great!

Another Fiesty Slap of PAIN delivered to a deserving dirtbag!
Good job! Nice work. We kilted crew shall take back our streets one lowlife at a time. Sav, I have seen your pictures, not someone or something most scum would want to run in to. Keep up the good work.
Sav, you should have tied him down to a chair with duct tape and gave him a personal bagpipe concert. I am all for the reformation of criminals through reconditioning practices.

Nice work, Sav! While I pray that no one ever has to be the victim of a crime, it's good to know that someone is willing to stand up and do the right thing when it does happen. I've always felt there were two times that it was okay to fight - when defending yourself or when defending others who need your help. As it's been said by men much wiser than me "Evil thrives when good men do nothing." Again, well done!

Unfortunately not, although I've requested a copy of the tape, which I will then transfer to digital media, and post on XMarks posthaste.

Good going there! As much as it's great for kiltwearers, I'm sure it's even better to know that good training and a sense of duty pay off, so congratulations to you.

Timing is everything and when one knows what he is doing, watch out world.
Now imagine how all these crime instigators are going to be known as?

Wow! Talk about a way to get kilts seen by the general public as a manly thing!
This is better than any celebrity in a kilt by a mile!
All we have to do is keep krimefighting and we will become known as the kilted kops. Or just help little, old ladies across the street. Elbow that boy scout out of the way if you have to.
Or pick up some litter?
