Oh cripes, look what RKilts made me do.
Much to my suprise, my ebay account is still working after they said they suspended it. I guess I can't post items for sale... I dunno, and I don't care. Not the point of this post.
I got a private message from Robert about this.
Oh cripes, what have I done. I am such a :fewl: I did this completely on impulse with no thoughts to the consequences of my actions. :crap: And one of my new years resolutions was to always take time to sit down and give it a lot of thought before making a major purchase.
Now to get a motor and a table... And perhaps something to appease the Snakey Haired Green Eyed Monster.

Remember jewelery is a nice thing to give the ladies and avoid giving her any sharp pointy thing she just may use them to remind you not to do something like this again. or there maybe you can say you bought it for her.

Looks like a really good heavy duty sucker. Once I get my tags and other tax-related items paid for this year, I'm gonna be looking for a heavy machine myself. (Almost bought one on impulse on HSN the other night, but that's another story altogether. Thank God they didn't give as much detail about metal gears and such as I wanted or I'd be taking delivery about now!)
We will all be anxious to see your first production with that baby.
Hmm, in need of a motor and a table, huh? Guess you'll have something to keep you busy for a few days.

Congartulations on your latest purchase; makes a change from buying kilts.
And what has the Snakey Haired Celtic Goddess done to cause her to be renamed the Snakey Haired Green Eyed Monster?

Ooooohhh, you're in trouble. Be sure to sew her lots of pretty things once you get it. Then say, "Aren't you glad I got it?"

Congrats Dread... it certainly looks like it will handle what you want to do.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Some peoples children!.... I get blamed for all sorts of things! In another thread you were looking for a sewing machine... and you came up with a singer (and it don't do opera)
I find this one in your neck of the woods and merely pass on the info.
It's the same model as one of the ones that I use and the price was reasonable.
Sooooo. I send off an email saying you have less than an hour to make up your mind.....no pressure. It's not like it's a KILT which is a "must have NOW" Kinda thing.
So do the "Honeeeeeey, you know you want it too. It's industrial! It will sew almost anything.....It's all I reeeeeally want, Honeeeeey, Honest....you know maybe a (kilt) you know the one that's your favourite colour, Honeeey ya know the one.....
I plead the fifth (Which unfortunatly doesn't work up here)
Now about that carbon fibre kilt you ordered......the one that won't melt....

Now I understand the million dollar brownie sundae picture in your other thread a bit better.
Looks like a dandy. Maybe you could go and pick it up (and save the $50 shipping). Use it as an outing with the wife. Make a day of it while you both make your plans for all the things you're going to sew.
