I am meeting a girlfriend I have know since 1991 when she was corresponding with me during the Gulf War, fantastic woman and the candle has begun to flicker in this old man’s heart once again. I thought the divorce was going to be tough, but I feel liberated and happy to know that I have friends worldwide that I can call upon.

I will be in So Cal. This October and would love a kilt night in my home state. I have been looking at Muldoon's Dublin Pub & Celtic Bar in Newport Beach for a kilt night, but would be up for anything in Long Beach or San Diego, i.e. the Tilted Kilt, especially with my fellow brothers you know who you are, look to the east.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I'm going to be in San Diego in two weeks, for a long weekend. I'm just wondering if it's worth bringing a good kilt for a meet.

You bet! We have a reasonably full calendar these next two months but will sneak in a kilt night if at all possible!
