1940s Besopke Stewart Christie Prince Charlie Jacket

Hi , Found this stunning 1930s Besopke Stewart Christie & Co Prince Charlie Jacket.

Stewart Christie itself was founded in 1720, making it the oldest tailor in Scotland and the second oldest business in Edinburgh.

This Besopke Jacket Circa early 1930s - Became Stewart Christie & Co in 1933 and the Royal Warrant is for George V and after this death in 1936 it became By Appointment to the late king George V . Shame its to small for me

Has anyone seen Prince Charlie Jacket with only 2 buttons each side ???????

. That is close and adding a bit for the waistcoat , I just wouldn’t know what to ask for it, I was going to put it on the bay. And wanted to share with the forum first .

Hi McMurdo , I have doubled checked the size and its more like a 38" allowing for shirt and vest. Some better photos , just look at the lovely cut of the jacket .

The mannequin is a 39" Chest to give you a better idea of size .
