All the website says is brushed cotton twill...if a breeze came fluttering by, would I have problems?

Yes yo would they are a very thin cotton twill. very similar to a lot of shorts around. you would be better off with a stillwater or utilikilt etc.

OR just buy a kilt pin to help hold it down. Though the light weight may be bad in windy situations, it's nice a cool when it's warm out.

Yes, they are pretty light. The tan that I have is particularly light when compared to anythinig else I own, although it might be comparable to a SWL standard. I'd have to put them side by side to be certain. I have heard that the olive and brown or black or slightly heavier material. But it is definitely the perfect kilt for warm weather.

    Toad,

The AK putty is heavier fabric, almost like canvas.

As for Pittsburgh Kilts, Jeff lists his fabrics by weight. He gives a pretty good decription of them too.

We have black and tan and have never had a problem with them blowing up in a wind- they're definately hot-weather wear though. My husband loves wearing his to summertime festivals.
