anyone used kilts4less
Greetings everyone. I have been looking for a tweed jacket set and found one on kilts4less that I really like. Does anyone have any experience with them and their products?
Thanks for your help.

I was going to buy a used jacket from them then they got back to me and said they can get me a new jacket for a used price. Super happy with them. Had to get sleeves worked on. Little short.

I bought a budget price kilt from them a few years ago. I still wear it, and have been very pleased with it. (I wish I had chosen a different tartan, though!)

Many, many purchases from them and always no problem. 1 slight hiccup when a jacket was omitted from a set (Argylle and waistcoat). They responded within 5 minutes and told me to keep the waistcoat I had received, and they would send a new full set - just to make sure the barathea matched.
Have also got tweed Argylles and contemporary Harris Tweed combos, as well as 3 x ex-hire kilts (which to be honest were all new!).
If you are purchasing from overseas and are eligible for tax free orders, send them an email first. They are happy to accommodate. They also have a shop on EBay uk, which has a wider selection of items. However, the EBay site cannot do tax free - so contact the online shop as they still have access to the same products, they just don't list them all on the website (hope that makes sense).
Cannot rate them enough.

Black barathea matching ... is it a problem?

How big of an issue is that with black barathea? A lot of the ex-hire jackets I'm looking at are sold without the waistcoat, so I'd have to purchase the two separately. (Kilts4Less appears to be one of the few exceptions that sells them together.)

To the untrained eye, not easy to spot. However, it may be that an ex hire may have faded and so would not match another w/coat (?). Kilts4less are doing both (a set) for £99 currently (less 20% tax if you are overseas - email them first) but I believe the sale ends Sunday.

I bought an "ex-hire" kilt on offer (£99) a few years ago, requesting the shortest they had (23"). The kilt I eventually got appeared to be new and was a lot of kilt for the money. Too much, in fact, so much so that I took it apart and cut out the tops of the pleats because it was really bulky around the waist, 9 yards of material squeezed into a 33" waist.
The only other issue was delivery. After waiting some time beyond when it was scheduled to arrive, I phoned them and got the distinct impression they had forgotten about it. It arrived the next day!
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

I bought a grey tweed Argyle jacket and vest from them a couple of years for my brother on short notice (as he realised his black one no longer fitted a few days before my wedding and he wanted something similar to mine). Quick service, good advise pre-purchase and happy with the product.
