    Black Stewart Ensemble?

I have a SWK Standard in Black Stewart and am trying to figure out what color combinations to use with this kilt. I currently have charcoal and cream colored hose and Black Stewart and green flashes. was thinking of either the charcoal hose with red flashes, or maroon hose with black flashes. Shirt-wise, I was going to go for a maroon polo or dress shirt for a more 'business casual' look.

Anyone have any input or maybe some pictures of what you wear with your Black Stewart?

    Thanks.

I usally wear a black polo with black hose and either red or yellow hose ties. Sometimes I wear my Black Stewart tartan flashes.

I know it's a lot of black which is not for everyone but it is one of my favorite colors.

I like your idea of maroon hose with a maroon polo. I think it will work nicely. When pleated to the stripe the Black Stewart has a very maroon/burgundy appearance from the back. So, I think it will look great even if yours is pleated to the sett. The colors go well together.

Here are a couple ideas you could match your shirt and hose

or go with black, and the clan crest shirt is always a nice touch

Of course if dressing it up a bit a white shirt and red tie works well with a charcoal jacket and waistcoat.

The black Stewart is one of the most versatile tartans you can own. With all of the colors in it you can wear about anything.

I've worn a blue polo (that matches the thin blue stripe) with blue hose and black-and-red flashes.

I've worn a red polo with black hose and red flashes.

I can't pull off the all-black, though. I wish I could, but that takes more attitude than I have.

I'll wear a white button down shirt, SWK tie to match the kilt, and Navy hose with red garter ties. Also all the same except cream hose with red garter ties. It is a very easy tartyan to work with. I tried a red polo shirt, navy hose with red ties and it looked smashing.
