I have to make a decision in 12 hours. We want to have our Kilt maker pleat our Campbell Of Argyll wool Kilts to the gold stripe. He is good with it but we are second guessing our plan because we don't know what that will look like. We thought we would find photos on the net but after looking at thousands of images Noooo, that's not happening. I know it will have primary colors in background with a gold/yellow vertical stripe and white horizontal lines. So... it that Tartan too busy or will it appear too yellow? Has anyone seen this and have a opinion your willing to share? I am a newbie but I am over 50 years old and don't have a clue. It is for a wedding, 8 yards, 16 oz. custom. We know to sett is easer and 98% more common, that's probably why we are going this way... Thanks in Advance!
