Just picked up another cool MOD kilt (Seaforth) and I'm trying to date it as it seems pretty old. I'd add some pics but my camera is being flaky. -22 oz. -Knife pleated -No left buckle/strap at all -2 right buckles/straps that definitely seem to be added later -Leather straps of the buckles are stamped "1947" The "1947" seems like a great clue except that the buckles were added after the fact. Any help?

When I read the Thread Title... I thought it was going to involve going out to dinner and a movie!?! Silly Me! .
LOL I knew someone would say that!
Is the love of the kilt ever unnatural?
What I thought about when I first read this description was the kilts sold over at What Price Glory ... which I think are replicas of WWI kilts. I think. I have a Seaforth. Handsome as the devil, aren't they?
