    double mystery kilt

Here is a kilt for sale on eBay. It MIGHT be Anderson Modern, but it could be just about anything. Does anyone know? Clearly, it closes like a man's kilt, but can anyone guess at the maker based on the photos shown? The second mystery is whether or not they have wrapped the plaid correctly. It looks to be a Piper's plaid, based on length...

    It's not my size.

    A double mystery - I love these!

My guess is the butler did it. No, no, no - that's a stupid guess.

It's Mr Plaid, with the dodgy haircut, in the blue room!

I too think it is a piper's plaid, but I have no idea about the tartan. Most piper's plaids that I have seen are pressed and stitched into shape. Maybe, he is the wrong height.

    Regards

    Chas

It's not Anderson. It looks to be a fashion variation of Stewart. I doubt, also, that it is vintage, as described.
