First kilt - Utilikilt sizing/adjustability
Hi all!
After noticing a certain geek-related site had Utilikilts on sale fairly cheap, and remembering I had coupons from previous orders to please my cheap self even more, I have decided to take the plunge and buy somethign I have always wanted. Being new to the kilt world, though, I have a few questions regarding the sizing and adjustability of kilts, the Standard Utilikilt specifically.
Following all the directions as well as possible, I have measured myself out to be a 37" waist and 22.5" length. I'm assuming the .5" difference on the length will be fairly negligible, however, this particular reseller only offers the UKs in even size waistbands. Is it possible to fit in either a 36" or 38"? I am (sadly) at the biggest I have been at in a while, and already starting to shrink back down, so naturally I want to go with the 36" if adjustment will allow. In the same manner, I don't want to go 38" expecting to just go down in size from here.
Any help in this matter would be appreciated (or alternate suggestions, such as quit being a cheapskate and pony up the cash for the 37", or go buy brand x instead, as deemed necessary). Mostly looking for something to replace shorts in the summer, or to wear around town, and maybe inflict some psychological warfare in pond hockey
Thanks!
