For the great kilt... two belts or one?

This is something i have run across on a few occasions while looking at the different ways to put on a great.
Some say two belts .. some say a cloth cord and a belt ... and then there is just the one belt?

    Which is the preferred method?

    thanks

My preferred method is to look on admiringly as someone ELSE deals with all that loose fabric <BIG GRIN> Really, try it out different ways and see what works best for you. I'm am not an expert on the history of the great kilt, but from what I have read here and other places, we don't know for sure how it was originally done. What works for you is what works for you.
