Green jacket with laced-up detachable sleeves.

Hello all. First post. Do excuse the noob scent that may or may not fill the room at the moment.

The gentleman in the picture is wearing a very nifty green jacket. Goes very well with his belted plaid (Campbell ancient?). AND I WANT ONE.

My old friend Google has been of no help so far, and so I am on the lookout for that exact model of jacket. I am certain that I have seen it elsewhere on a site that either carried it or where the pattern for it was stored, and I am aware that Celtic Croft (the site I found this image on) doesn't sell it, but I might as well ask the community just in case.

    Thanks in advance!

"So uhm... do you wear anything under that?"
"Friend, that's for me to know and you to lose sleep over" ;)

Ravenswood Leather makes two different kilt doublets that are similar

    this one

    http://www.ravenswoodleather.com/ind...product&id=257

    and this one

    http://www.ravenswoodleather.com/ind...=product&id=51

I have one of the second models in black and brown. Here is a photo where I had taken off the sleeves

Ravenswood leather is quite open to customizing you order to suit your order to your tastes and are worth giving a look

    Cheers

Ahh yes, I've seen those before. They seem nice, but since I alread have a leather jacket, I really am looking for a cloth version like the man is wearing in my pic above.

Nice photo, by the way! Is the basket-hilt a real blade?

Some years ago, Tartanweb had a jacket made to the specifications of the one worn by Liam Neeson in the movie "Rob Roy". They haven't had it in their product line for some time, however, if you contact them, they might point you to who made them.

Here's a link to their site:

The picture you posted shows a doublet that looks a good deal like the "Rob Roy Doublet" at Pendragon:

I think you're right, J.D. That looks awfully close to the photo she posted.

Thanks to you and SFCRick, I now have two new vendors to browse for jackets for my wife.

Mr McIntyre, you have just made my day! Why that's the right piece, along with the diagonal stitching and all. Excellent find, sir!
