I'm thinking about getting this jacket off ebay...do you guys think it would look good with a SWK Blackwatch?
yes. I have a similar jacket and I got mine off eBay as well.

I got a similar one off E-Bay as well. It's a Harris Tweed and is on the heavy side. That color goes well with Black Watch. I've been eyeing that jacket myself.

Well, if you want it take it...I've got no money to be buying jackets so if it's taken then my temptation is gone with it:rolleyes:
There was a thread not too long ago where some gave step by step instructions for alterations to a regular jacket to make it a kilt jacket...I can't find it for the life of me...anybody know where that is?
What is the current bid on that jacket? Is the size right for you? If the fit would be good, the price is alright, and the style is what you want, go for it. I would ask the seller for more information (maker, short-regular or long, etc) Altering a regualr Saxon jacket is always an option, but it can be very hit and miss. Some look okay and some look great. If this one is already the way you want a jacket, and it is affordable...............go for it. Save the headache, time, and frustration of trying to alter a jacket and get what you want to begin with.
Here is the link to Alan's instructions: http://www.geocities.com/alanhsails/...lt_jacket.html
