Question kilt alterations in Southern California

I purchased a women's full length kilt skirt from Celtic Craft Centre in 2008 when they were in Palm Springs, CA. They said futuer alterations were at no charge. The kilt is beautiful, exceptionally well made and still looks brand new four years later. Their store has long since closed and the Edinburgh website is no longer. I need to have the kilt waist altered but hesitate to take it to just any alterations shop. I live in San Bernardino county and would appreciate recommendations on where to find alterations. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.

Just to let you know, my Clergy tank is from CCC. They still exist in Edinburgh but don't answer their e-mails or phone. For what it's worth, it cost me $100 to have it rebuilt because it was improper. Should have cost more, but John at Keltoi habitually undercharges for his meticulous work.

I wish you well finding a reputable and meticulous repair shop in your area.

I am in So. Cal as well, and if this is something of value and you want done right I second Fr. Bill. John Hart does great work, yes he is in Canada but if it is quality you are after look no further. I have a few of his hand sewn kilts and they are tremendous and John is great to work with.
