Liverpool Scottish sporran
I need/want a Liverpool Scottish horse hair sporran. Any ideas where I can find a quality reproduction or original one thats not extremely pricey?

You could always try bugpiper on ebay. Although wherever (if ever) you find one, it's gonna be relatively pricey. It all depends how much you are willing to pay or how much you want/need it.

Bugpiper only has these at the moment and no sporrans:

Maybe sending him an email would help.

Whether a vintage one or a new one, it's probably going to be pricey, unless you just happen on an old one on Ebay and the seller doesn't know what he has.
I bought an old horsehair sporran on Ebay a few years ago, of a pattern I'd not seen before, and a year or so later came across a WWI photo showing a soldier wearing the identical sporran! I still don't know what regiment, but a Scottish regiment it was.
Yes Steve McVeigh is probably your man!

Well here it is, at the bottom of the page

Brown-grey hair, black tassels, black leather cantle, metal cantle rim and cones. Is the metalwork "white metal" or brass?
In any case, I'm sure that L&M Highland Outfitters could make you one. They might not have the badge, so you might have to scrounge up one of those yourself.
