    Locharron kilt length size question

I saw a kilt for sale listing that has a size on the label of L22+2R. I know this is length 22", but what is the +2R?

That is 2 inch "Rise". That means that it is 2 inches from the center of the waist buckle to the top of the kilt. This means that the kilt is a total of 24 inches long.

And you do know that Lochcarron is primarily a fabric weaving mill? If there is a Locharron label inside it may mean only that they wove the fabric the kilt is made from.

Yes, I did not think that it was a kilt made by the Locharron mill and you are correct that it has a Locharron label which only shows the mill the fabric was made in.
