    Michigan kilt makers

I really want a kilt from Westcoastkilts.com & Rob MacDonald, the guy knows his military kilts! But Vancouver is just too far from Michigan

Are there any kilt makers in Michigan? I mean real made in Michigan 8 yeard box pleated military kilt makers? Most here seem to just take your measurements and send it off.

Please help. I am willing to travel a bit if I have too. I want quality

    Thanks
    Mike Crane

I've never bought one from him, but read an article once. According to it, he is quite good.

Although not in Michigan there is John at Keltoi who does excellent work and makes a very good military style kilt. He is located about two hours from the Port Huron border. As well the American to Canadian dollar exchange makes for a substantial discount!

I'd say that's worth the drive depending upon where in MI you are.
