New kilt
I am trying to decide on my next kilt.I will not wear a tartan I can not find a connection to unless it's a universal tartan.
my ancestors came thru the ulster district so I was thinking of the Ulster red modern.Does anyone have a picture of the ulster district red.not just a swatch.
my other choice would be the wildcat tartan. Are any of the vendor's carrying that tartan? Thanks for any help.

Seems to me McMurdo, AlanH and Barb Tewksbury ( members here) were involved in the original weave as was Paul Henry ( http://www.paulhenrykilts.com/wildcat.html ).
Paul's site seems to be the goto for purchasing but maybe others will chime in. It is a fine looking tartan, kudos to the creators. I will be following this thread as I may be interested in the near future....
