Newbie question about Tanks
I have been reading on this site for 2 or 3 days and keep hearing people describing their kilts as Tanks. What makes a Kilt a Tank and why?
Not sure this is the right place for this thread or not. No offence intended.

BK - Bear Kilts
FK - Freedom Kilts
FLS - Freelander Sporrans!
MUG - Male Unbifurbricated Garment (not to be used lightly)
PK - Pittsburgh Kilts
SWK - Stillwater Kilts
TFCK - 21st Century Kilts
UK- Utilikilt
USAK - USA Kilts
A 'TANK' is defined as an eight-yard, wool, hand-sewn, traditional kilt. ie., "It's built like a tank." (coined by Jimmy Carbomb c.2005)
