Orange and Black Tartans?
Hello All!
New here, so please forgive me if this is in the wrong place!
I am looking for a kilt in an orange and black color (the colors of the university where I work--orange/white/black would also be fine). Anyone know of any tartans that would work?
Also, what about a solid orange (saffron?) kilt? Any thoughts?

Newbies always get there!
Try a search for the Harley Davidson corporate tartan.

At the tartan register Father Bill linked you can search by colour: https://www.tartanregister.gov.uk/search
The nicest orange and black tartan I found was the MacLachlan (Cheif's Dress) tartan: https://www.tartanregister.gov.uk/ta...tails?ref=2585
The nicest orange, balck and white tartasn I found were the Barclay Dress tartan: https://www.tartanregister.gov.uk/tartanDetails?ref=214
and the Johnston Orange/Black Tartan: https://www.tartanregister.gov.uk/ta...tails?ref=1898

Hey, me too!
If they ever decide they need a piper for graduation ceremonies, here's what I'm getting:

(BTW I grew up just down the road from Wooster, and drove by Bowling Green every fall and spring for four years on the way to UofM)

Beware computer images. The range of lght reds used in the Old/Ancient colour range differs by individual weaing firm but none are what one would call a true orange. The MacDonald of Ardnamurchan, MacQueen, MacQuarry etc are red tartans, not orange.
