pressing a kilt
I anm looking for advice on pressing a kilt. My tank got wrinkled in a rather hurried exit from the Blairesville Games a few weeks ago, I remember seeing some threads about steaming out the wrinkles, but am not sure how to pull those threads up, any advice is welcome. Thank you,
Respectfully,
David

No need to iron - buy a portable steamer. A Black and Decker Gizmo if you can find one or google up Jiffy Steamer and get their portable or floor model. You'll have no need to iron/press your kilts and you'll soon be steaming your other garments instead of ironing.
Sorry if this duplicates any of the above links....too lazy to check on dial up.

Is this a great board or what!?
Thanks for those links. Yup, I have that floor steamer. Also have Jiffy's Esteam travel steamer for trips. Gizmo was great while it lasted.
There's also a guy doing infomercials on tv about his steamer, acts like he invented the concept.
Whichever steamer, they all beat laying the kilt out on the floor to iron it.
If you insist on ironing your kilt never bother wrestling with it on an ironing board, just no way for that to work. Follow Ham's advice and lay it out on the floor to its proper circular sweep before ironing.

Was that after that unfortunate reiving incident I heard about?
