Prince Charlie/Argyll
longhuntr74 mentioned on the 'going to the ball' thread this line regarding attire at a formal event:
"A Prince Charles jacket and vest (You could also possibly get away with an Argyll jacket as well...but it's generally considered a semi-formal coat compared to the PC)."
I only have a green Argyll jacket as, I feel, a black PC looks yuk when next to my green/blue/brown Hunting Fraser kilt.
Any deep thoughts out there as to why I should get a PC just to be, well, pc?!
p.s. No offence to longhuntr74 intended. it was just a comment more broadly on perceptions in the kilted world of real men.
