Ross Modern Hunting Dc Dalgliesh or House of Edgar

Hi

I am considering about buying a new kilt with the Ross Hunting Modern, but i am unsure if i should choose the fabrics of House of Edgar or custom weave from DC Dalgliesh? what is the difference of those two mills, and if i choose the DC Dalgliesh, which kiltmakers can you choose the DC Dalgliesh Fabrics except from Scotweb?

Any kiltmaker that advertise here can get the tartan from either mill and you can depend on the quality of the work.

Both Mills are expensive,I use Strathmore and have had no problems in the last 30 years.
Their cloth is exellent with a perfect selve edge.

The Ross Hunting Tartan is quite common. There is no need to request a custom weave of it from any weaving company.

It is carried as a stock Tartan by almost all of them.

Choose one weaver over another because you like the colors that weaver uses, or you like the quality of the cloth or for whatever reason you wish. But there is no reason that you should have to go through the expense of a custom weave from any of them to get Ross Hunting Tartan in the Modern colorway.

i think i buy a kilt With the HoE fabric since the ross hunting modern from Dc Dalgliesh is a custom weave and very expensive
